Priced separately. Termite inspections, bed bugs, rodents, possums, wasps and commercial programs each have their own price. Termite inspection prices are on our termite control page, and for the rest, call us and we will give you a price.

Booking takes about two minutes. Tell us the property type and how many bedrooms, and we will confirm the price on the call and book you in. Nothing changes when we arrive. Call 0403 192 894, or send us a message and we will come back to you.

No surprises

The few things we quote instead

Almost every home is on the list above and pays exactly that. These are the jobs that need a look first, and you will always have the price before we start.

Heavy infestations

An established German cockroach or bed bug population needs follow-up visits. We tell you that up front, not after the first treatment.

Rodent bait stations

Rodent treatment is priced on its own. If the job needs lockable bait stations, each one is an extra cost, and we agree the number with you before placing any.

Termite treatment

The inspection is a fixed price. What the treatment costs depends on what the inspection finds, so it is quoted after, never before.

Unusually large properties

Acreage, multiple buildings or a home well beyond four bedrooms. Rare, but it gets a look and a price before anything is booked.

Commercial sites

Priced on floor area, premises type, pests in scope, frequency and documentation. See commercial pest control.

Birds and feral animals

Both depend entirely on the site, so we quote after seeing it. We are licensed for feral animal work, which very few Sydney operators are.

Comparing quotes

Why the cheapest quote is often the most expensive

There is nothing wrong with wanting cheap pest control. There is a lot wrong with paying twice.

The headline price is not the job

A very low advertised price usually covers an interior spray only. No roof void, no subfloor, no perimeter, which is where most of the problem actually lives.

Check the licence and the insurance

Pest control in NSW requires a licence, and any technician entering your roof void should be insured. Ask for both. A real operator sends them without hesitating.

Ask what happens if it comes back

A guarantee is worth more than a discount. Ask what is covered, for how long, and whether the return visit is free.

Watch for the upsell on the day

The classic is a low quote on the phone, then a much larger number once the technician is standing in your hallway. Get the price agreed before anyone arrives.

Ask whether GST is included

It is the most common quote dispute in the trade and it is entirely avoidable. Get it in writing.

Cheap is fine. Cheap and thorough is the goal

We are not the most expensive pest control company in Sydney and we do not try to be. We would rather quote fairly, do the whole job, and have you ring us again next year.

What you get

What a PestOz general treatment includes

Included in the price

  • Pests treated: cockroaches, German cockroaches, spiders and ants
  • A free quote, in most cases over the phone
  • An inspection to find where the pest is living and getting in
  • Interior treatment to cracks, crevices, voids and harbourage
  • Roof void and subfloor where they are safely accessible
  • A full perimeter treatment around the outside of the building
  • Child and pet-friendly products, applied by a licensed technician
  • Our workmanship guarantee on the treatment

Quoted separately

  • Termite inspections and treatment, a separate discipline entirely
  • Bed bugs, which need multiple visits and far more labour
  • Rodent proofing, because sealing work depends entirely on the building
  • Possum exclusion, which is a proofing job under NSW wildlife rules
  • Commercial programs, priced per site with reporting and documentation
  • Pre-construction termite barriers, quoted on the slab and the design
Frequently asked questions

Pest control costs, answered

How much does pest control cost for a house in Sydney?

A general pest treatment for a Sydney house starts from $306.90 including GST ($279 plus GST), and apartments and units start from $218.90 including GST ($199 plus GST). The exact price depends on the size of the property, and we confirm it before we book you in. The treatment covers sprays, powders and gels inside and outside, including balconies, gardens, courtyards, terraces, garage and pool, and treats cockroaches, German cockroaches, ants, spiders and general pests.

Is there a call-out fee?

Quotes are free, and in most cases we can quote over the phone once you describe the property and what you have seen. If you would like a technician to come out and look at a problem before you book a treatment, there can be an inspection fee, so ask about it when you call. Once a treatment is booked, the price we quote is the price you pay, with nothing added on top.

Why is termite work so much more expensive?

Because it is a different job. A termite inspection is a detailed inspection of the whole property with a written report, priced by property type, and our termite control page has those prices. Treatment is quoted after that inspection, because the price depends on the construction, how far the activity has spread and whether the answer is a chemical soil treatment, a baiting and monitoring system or a physical barrier. Termites cause structural damage, so the work has to be done to the relevant Australian Standard rather than done quickly.

Is cheap pest control worth it?

Sometimes, and sometimes it is the most expensive option available. A very low advertised price usually covers an interior spray only, with no roof void, no subfloor and no perimeter treatment, which is where most of the problem actually lives. Before you compare prices, compare what is included, whether the technician is licensed and insured, and what the guarantee covers if the pest comes back. A cheap treatment you have to pay for twice costs more than a thorough one.

Do prices include GST?

Yes. Every price on this page includes GST, so the figure shown is the figure you pay. We also show the ex-GST amount beside it, because businesses claiming the credit need that number. It is the single most common cause of a disagreement over a pest control invoice, so we would rather put both on the page than leave you guessing.

Is an annual program cheaper than calling someone out each time?

Usually, yes. Regular treatment stops populations rebuilding, so each visit is a maintenance job rather than a rescue. Homes that only call when there is a visible problem tend to pay more over a few years, because by the time a pest is visible the population is already established and takes more time and product to clear. Most Sydney homes do well on an annual treatment, with every six months suiting properties near bushland, water or with plenty of entry points.

Do I have to pay again if the pests come back?

Our work is backed by a workmanship guarantee. If the pest is still active within the guarantee period on the treatment we did, we come back and deal with it. Ask us about the specific period when you get your quote, because it varies with the pest and the treatment. Some jobs, particularly bed bugs and German cockroaches, are expected to need a follow-up visit as part of the plan rather than as a failure of the first treatment.

How much is commercial pest control?

Commercial work is quoted per site rather than off a list, because it depends on floor area, the type of premises, which pests are in scope, how often you need servicing and how much documentation you require. A small cafe on a quarterly program is a very different job to a distribution centre with a mapped rodent station network. PestOz assesses the site and quotes the program up front, with the schedule and inclusions set out so there are no surprise invoices.

Book your treatment

Tell us the property and what you have seen. We will confirm the price on the call and get you booked, often the same day.
