Yes. A pre-construction termite barrier reduces the risk of termite entry, but no barrier makes a building termite-proof on its own. Australian Standards recommend a competent termite inspection at least once every twelve months to keep the protection effective and to catch any activity early. PestOz can carry out these annual termite inspections and advise on keeping the barrier, and any warranty on it, valid over the life of the building.
